About Us
In 2019 we, Yolanda Los and Onno Stevens, purchased 'Domaine Roubeirolle' in Tourtour, initially as a vacation home. When Onno was able to sell his company at the end of 2022, the choice was quickly made. We left Amsterdam and moved to Tourtour.
In 2024, we renovated the gite 'La Tour de Roubeirolle' into an accommodation reflecting the way we like to vacation.
We are the second owners of Roubeirolle. In 1980, Paul Debaisieux and Franckie Tacque bought Roubeirolle. At that time, it was a ruin of a sheepfold from 1831. Between 1980 and 1982, the ruin was converted into a home. We have since made necessary adjustments while always maintaining the characteristic Provençal atmosphere. Roubeirolle means 'red oak,' which is why there’s an oak tree in our logo. Truffles have even been found under these beautiful trees.
Domaine Roubeirolle is situated on a hill, offering breathtaking views. The property is located at the end of a road and spans 15 hectares. Within 5 minutes by car, you can reach the picturesque village of Tourtour. Of course you can also walk, then you are on the road for +- 45 minutes. The village has several restaurants, charming galleries and shop and a supermarket for daily necessities. You can also buy fresh croissants and baguettes here 7 days a week.
The gîte 'La Tour' is on the Domaine Roubeirolle property, but the distance and location between our house and the gîte ensure complete privacy. The gîte is therefore certainly suitable for naturists.
Gite 'La Tour'
Our gite "La Tour" is a luxuriously furnished, detached studio for 2 people (adults only) and is fully equipped. It features a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The armchairs by the wood stove are perfect for cozying up in spring, fall, and winter. There's also an air conditioner that can heat or cool. A large double bed offers panoramic views of the Massif des Maures. From the terrace, you have a stunning view of the valley, with the villages of Villecroze and Salerne visible in the distance, and on the other side our village Tourtour.
La Tour offers complete privacy with its own driveway, parking space and garden. From the studio, you step directly onto the terrace, where you can enjoy the breathtaking sunsets. The terrace features a built-in jacuzzi and an outdoor shower. There's also an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ. In short, you can enjoy this luxurious location in total peace and privacy.
The Provence is worth visiting not just in the summer. Spring, fall, and even winter are highly recommended as well. La Tour is available for rent year-round. We guarantee total relaxation in the jacuzzi or on the terrace. Enjoy the silence, broken only by the sounds of nature, in this unique accommodation.

Tourtour
The location of Tourtour is truly fantastic. The village is over six hundred meters high, offering a magnificent view of nearly the entire Provence. On clear days, you can see the mountains of Frejus to the south and Mont Ventoux to the northwest. But it’s not just the views that are enchanting. The cozy streets, atmospheric squares, Romanesque houses and buildings make you feel like you’ll never want to leave.
The village square features many cozy terraces, and under the old plane trees, it’s delightful to enjoy a cup of coffee or, as the French prefer, a glass of rosé or pastis.
Near the church, there’s a scenic viewpoint worth visiting. The market square is named after the famous painter Bernard Buffet. There are also gigantic insect sculptures by this artist near 'la Mairie,' which are definitely worth seeing.
The Region
The large reservoir Lac de Sainte Croix and the Grand Canyon du Verdon are about 25 km away. It is a magnificent natural area where many sporting activities can be enjoyed. Around Tourtour, you will find beautiful forests, hills, vineyards and many charming villages.
The authentic villages of Salernes, Villecroze, Lorgues, Taradeau, and Flayosc are just a few kilometers away. Visit the cozy markets in one of these villages and enjoy the French life. The city of Draguignan is approximately 10 kilometers away. Cities like Cannes, Nice, Aix-en-Provence, and Marseille are about an hour's drive.
